Memory game
It takes a good memory and a bit of nerve.
Four cards lie face down in front of you, and you only know two of them. In Raccoon – The Cookie Thief, you remember what’s where, peek with the raccoon cards and get rid of cookies whenever a matching number lands in the middle.
In this memory game for kids aged 5 and up, children count cookies, remember their cards and pick the right moment to shout “RACCOON!”
Memory game
Everyone gets four face-down cards and can only look at the two end cards. Remember them!

Take a card from the pile and place it in the middle. If one of your cards has the same number of cookies, be the first to put it on top and get rid of it. Get it wrong and you take a new card from the pile, without looking. Raccoon cards let you peek and swap.

Think you have the fewest cookies? Shout “RACCOON!” After one more round, everyone turns their cards over. Fewest cookies wins, but anyone holding a Guard Dog loses.

Good reasons

You know two from the start. The other two you’ll have to discover.
Raccoon cards let you peek at your own cards, and even swap with another player.
Finish with a Guard Dog in front of you and you lose the game.
Ages 5 and up. Children count cookies from 1 to 5 and remember where their cards are.
Two to four.
If you think you have the fewest cookies, shout “RACCOON!” After one more round, all players turn their cards face up. The player with the fewest cookies wins. If you hold a Guard Dog card, you lose. Raccoon cards don’t count at the end.
